| Description: | R.M.S Titanic Anniversary -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the morning of April 15, 1912, the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic off the coast of Newfoundland the previous night shocked the world In commemoration of this disaster, on April 15th, the Society of Newfoundland Radio Amateurs (SONRA) http://www.sonra.ca/ Amateur Radio Station VO1BZM will be operating using the Titanic call sign of MGY from the Society's Amateur Radio Station located in the former British Admiralty wireless telegraphy station located at Mount Pearl, NL; now the Admiralty House Museum. http://www.admiraltymuseum.ca/ Listen for VO1MGY in the CW mode on all bands where propagation permits, commencing 10:00 UTC, April 15.
